Let’s get in the real world though.

That is, most people love animal foods. In New Zealand & Australia, we love and pride ourselves on dairy and meat. I grew up living the rural NZ life and couldn’t have had a better upbringing. For most, we plan our meals around meat. 

Plant rich means we plan our diet around plants. With a side of animal.

This means we put the focus on foods that are an essential part of a healthy diet. Many would call this a revolutionary nutrition concept in the animal food-loving countries of NZ & Australia! Combining plant nutrition with a touch of animal. Changing the focus from meat and three veg. 

To… A plate pumped up with veggies, bit of grain, bit of legume and a touch of animal along the way. Legumes you say? What the **** are those?

In life, we are encouraged to give our best at whatever we are doing. And we do.

But our best doesn’t mean that we can be at our best in everything we do, every single day. Let’s be real, we aren’t performing at our best all day, every day at work. 

We aren’t training at our best every day. And your diet won’t be at its best all day every day. Your best isn’t meant to be maintained at all times. 

It’s fun eating pizza with your friends on a Friday night. Variety is the spice of life is it not? What does happen though, when we aspire to be our best every day, is that our best actually gets better. 

Our best at work, in training, our diet, they get better. How fast you want your best to get better is up to you. How fast you want your best diet to get even better is up to you. How quickly you want to better your plant rich status is up to you. 

Oh and don’ think you don’t need it…

About 7-8% of Kiwi’s & Aussie’s eat the recommended amount of fruit and veggies each day. 2% of Australian’s met the daily nut target and don’t get me started on those legume things…and I could go on…

Eating more plant foods doesn’t just happen overnight. If it did, you would all be eating a heck of a lot more fruit, veggies, legumes, grains, nuts & seeds than what you are.
